Pet Bereavement Support
Losing a beloved animal can be an incredibly painful and often misunderstood experience. As a trained pet bereavement supporter through the Blue Cross charity, I offer compassionate, non-judgemental support to both pet owners and professionals working within the animal welfare sector.
Whether you're grieving the loss of a companion animal or navigating the emotional toll of working in end-of-life care for pets, my approach provides a safe space to process your feelings, honour the human–animal bond, and begin to heal.
1
Validating your Loss
The loss of a beloved animal can be deeply emotional and uniquely painful- yet it's often misunderstood or minimised by others.
I provide a safe, compassionate space to honour the profound bond between humans and animals. Whether you’re a pet owner grieving a much-loved companion or a professional working in animal care facing the emotional toll of loss, your feelings are valid and worthy of support.
Grief after pet loss can bring sadness, guilt, confusion, and even isolation- these are all natural responses. I offer non-judgmental, person-centred support to help you make sense of these emotions, find comfort, and begin to gently heal at your own pace and in your own way.

Neurodivergence and Grief
As a psychotherapist specialising in working with neurodivergent clients, I understand the importance of offering support that honours each person’s unique way of experiencing the world.
Many neurodivergent individuals form profoundly deep, intuitive bonds with animals- often finding their animal companions more emotionally attuned, safe, and comforting than human relationships.
In my practice, I create a neuroaffirmative, non-judgmental space where clients can process grief in the context of their needs, communication style, and sensory experiences.
Acknowledging and validating the depth of connection to an animal can be a vital step in healing after loss- and I’m here to walk alongside that journey with understanding and care.
